Easter

It is Easter, even in Iraq.

I went to the dining facility for lunch today and they had easter decorations hanging all over the place, from the ceilings, on the tables, the tablecloths, etc. There was candy on the tables and spread all over the building. At each little food station there was candy scattered around that you could take with you. By the soup there was a giant pile of it, enough to fill an entire folding table. They also had sparkling grape juice on the tables since we can't have alcohol.

Pretty cool that they make an effort to celebrate all of the holidays for us even over here.
