Taco Bell Iraq

Today they let me off early, so I went to the gym and showered and by the time I got done the dining facility was closing, so I went to Taco Bell up by the BX. After Pizza Hut I wasn't expecting much, but was surprised to find that it was some of the best Taco Bell I'd ever had! The only bad part is they were out of red sauce and went a little light on the cheese, but other than that it was great. The tortilla was as soft as a baby's behind (probably not a good way to describe food), the beans weren't dry and gross, the sour cream was applied all along the burrito rather than a huge clump at the bottom. It was all folded up very precisely, the same width throughout the entire burrito rather than having a huge bottom or top that is all spread out. Obviously the Iraqis or Indians they have working in there are more appreciative of a Taco Bell wage and take more pride in their work than fast food workers back home.

It probably isn't worth the trip to Iraq to try it, but if you are ever in the area, I recommend stopping at Taco Bell for a good meal.

  1. That's nice that there is a Taco Bell on base. I might not be to nervous to come out and visit now.
